Welding
Students will learn the basics of MIG welding, including metal preparation, shop safety, and the use of welding tools and equipment. Through hands-on projects, they’ll explore how metal can be cut, joined, and shaped into functional and creative objects.
The afterschool program focuses on building a piece of furniture over several sessions. The one-day workshop introduces welding techniques through small projects made with metal scraps and recycled materials.
